Clear Written Estimates, Detail-Focused Installation, And A Family-Owned Crew You Deal With Directly
A metal roof is a long-term decision, and it’s worth getting right the first time. In Boerne, TX, metal roofing is chosen for its heat performance, its resistance to hard Hill Country storms, and how long it lasts compared to other roof types. The tricky part is picking the right system and a crew that installs it correctly.
That’s where Lynx Roofing comes in. We walk your roof, explain your metal options in plain terms, and put the full scope in writing before we start. You’ll know the panel type, the flashing plan, and the timeline up front.
Our focus on detail means fewer surprises during the job and a roof that seals and drains the way it should. If you’re weighing a new metal roof or a metal roof replacement in Kendall County, TX, we’ll give you an honest starting point.
How Lynx Roofing Installs Metal Roofing In Boerne, TX
We Follow A Clear, Repeatable Process So Your Metal Roof Is Planned, Installed, And Inspected The Right Way
We follow a clear, repeatable process so your metal roof is planned, installed, and inspected the right way.

Roof Inspection And Measurement
First, we inspect your existing roof and take exact measurements. We check the deck, the slope, and any spots where water tends to collect. This tells us which metal system fits your home and where flashing needs extra attention.
Getting the details right at this stage keeps the install accurate. It also prevents guesswork later, which protects your budget and your timeline.
Choosing The Right Metal System
Next, we walk you through your panel choices in plain terms. Standing seam and exposed-fastener panels each behave differently on Hill Country homes. We match the system to your roof slope, your look, and your budget.
Then we put it all in a written scope. You’ll know exactly what’s going on your roof before anything is ordered, so there are no surprises on install day.
Deck Prep And Underlayment
Before panels go on, we prep the deck and install underlayment. This layer adds a second line of defense under the metal against water and heat. We fix any soft or damaged decking we find during prep. Good prep is what keeps a metal roof watertight for the long haul. Skipping it is how leaks start, so we don’t cut corners here.
Panel Installation And Flashing
Then we install the metal panels and seal every transition with proper flashing. Valleys, edges, and roof penetrations get careful attention, since those are the spots most likely to leak. Our detail-focused approach means clean lines and tight seals. That’s what keeps rain out during heavy storms and holds up under Texas sun year after year.
Final Cleanup And Walkthrough
Last, we clean the site and walk the finished roof with you. We remove debris, run a magnet for stray fasteners, and check every seam and flashing point. Then we review the completed work together so you’re confident it’s done right. You get a roof that’s installed correctly, and a yard left the way we found it.
Choosing Your Metal Roofing In Boerne, TX
A few key decisions shape your metal roof. Here’s how to think through them.

Choosing Between Standing Seam And Exposed-Fastener Panels
Standing seam hides its fasteners under raised, interlocking seams, which gives a clean look and fewer exposed points. Exposed-fastener panels attach directly through the metal and often cost less. Standing seam suits homeowners wanting a longer-term, low-maintenance roof. We’ll show you both on your own home and explain the tradeoffs.
Deciding On New Installation Or Metal Roof Replacement
If you’re building or switching roof types, that’s a new metal roof installation. If you have an aging or failing roof, a metal roof replacement swaps the old system for new metal. During your inspection, we tell you honestly which one fits your situation and why. No pressure, just a straight recommendation.
Picking Your Metal Roof Color And Finish
Color and finish affect both looks and heat performance on local homes. Lighter finishes reflect more sun, which helps in Texas heat. We help you match a color to your home’s style and your HOA rules if you have them. It’s a decision worth taking your time on, since the roof stays a long while.

Overall, I would rate Lynx Roofing 4.5 out of 5…
We recently had our roof and gutters replaced by Lynx Roofing after significant hail damage from a storm in late October/early November, and overall the experience was very positive. Our home and detached garage both required full roof replacement. The original cementitious hard plank roofing was severely damaged, and because comparable materials are no longer readily available and are very expensive, Lynx helped us evaluate better options. We ultimately upgraded to a Euroshield Class 4 roof made from recycled tires, along with new flashing and vents, and upgraded from 4” gutters to 6” seamless gutters with leaf guards where needed due to nearby trees. Lynx assisted with inspections and communicated with the insurance company throughout the process. The insurance portion was relatively painless; the most complicated part of the project was working through the escrow process with our mortgage company, which was outside of Lynx’s control and were very patient and understanding of the additional steps and delays it introduced. Communication from Lynx was consistently strong. We had regular updates, and Chris, the owner, was approachable and a positive presence throughout the project. The roofing crews were outstanding—hard working, professional, and very respectful of the property. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made a real effort to keep the mess contained and maintain good housekeeping at the end of each day. The roofing portion took about two weeks to complete across both buildings, and the finished result looks amazing. The new roof and gutters have completely changed—and significantly improved—the appearance of our home. The performance of the upgraded materials has been excellent so far, and the durability and environmental benefits of the Euroshield system give us a lot of confidence going forward. The only significant challenge we encountered involved the gutter installation, which was performed by a third party. During installation, there was some confusion about the scope of work and applicable code requirements, particularly regarding downspout placement and gutter pitch on longer runs. At one point, additional downspouts were installed without correcting slope as we expected, and the discussions around what was required by code versus typical installation practices were at times difficult to navigate. In hindsight, having a Lynx representative onsite during the initial walkthrough and coordination with the third party would have helped prevent some of this confusion. That said, what stood out to me was how the situation was handled. Rather than becoming defensive, both the owner of the gutter company and Chris with Lynx made themselves available, researched the issues, and worked toward an agreeable solution—even when it meant additional work and materials. While this portion of the project was frustrating at times, their willingness to stay engaged and make it right mattered. There were no unexpected costs, and the overall quality of materials and workmanship makes the project feel like an excellent value. Overall, I would rate Lynx Roofing 4.5 out of 5 stars and would recommend them to homeowners in the Portland / Corpus Christi area looking for a durable roofing system and a contractor who is willing to work through issues professionally.
